Darryn is a Senior Project Manager with more than 25 years’ experience across a range of industries in New Zealand and around the world.
Having studied as a mechanical engineer before moving into project management, Darryn has the technical understanding of a project, while his management experience ensures its overall success.
Throughout his career, Darryn has worked across construction and industrial projects, as well as managing projects in the dairy, electricity and transport sectors.
Darryn has the knowledge and experience to manage a project from concept to completion, and works directly with the client throughout the process. He relates well to people from all industries, and can adapt his core project management skills to meet the requirements of any sector.
Quality Management is an integral part of every project and Darryn leads the IPMS team in this area, drawing on his many years’ experience with a variety of high-level projects. Among his global experience is the project management of the Macau Tower revolving floor in China, and here in New Zealand Darryn project-managed the construction of the revolving restaurant in Auckland’s Sky Tower.
Outside of the office, Darryn likes to keep fit and active, with a keen interest in mountain biking, diving and fishing. He lives in Tauranga with his wife and two children.
