Darren Carter

Senior Project Manager, BSc (Hons) / MRICS Quality Manager / Building Surveyor

With 13 years’ NZ experience working at three multi-disciplinary consultancies in Auckland, Darren has covered the full range of building surveying disciplines. It’s this extensive skillset and knowledge that allows him to offer clients a flexible and reliable service.

Darren is passionate about managing projects from design to completion and enjoys the complex and varied work building surveying offers.

At IPMS, he manages new build and weathertight remediation projects, utilising both traditional and design and build (D&B) procurement methods. Darren also provides exceptional quality management to ensure works comply with the consented plans and specifications, and supports with other property-related requirements. These include: building pathology, remedial repair, technical due-diligence, condition surveys and asbestos management.

Darren moved from the UK in 2005 and has recently relocated from Auckland to Tauranga with his family. A lover of the outdoors, you’ll find him mountain biking and fishing in his spare time.
